What I find interesting about the Church of God World Mission is that the people that make up the church are people who they themselves have stopped going to church. I was actually one of them. I didn’t go to church really because there didn’t seem to be church that followed God correctly.
Alot of my friends went to their churches, telling me they feel filled and happy. They said the fellowship was great and they loved the praise and worship. There was one point that I never thought about until I came to the Church of God World Mission Society: what about eternal life?
John 6:53 ‘Jesus said to them, “I tell you the truth, unless you eat the flesh of the Son of Man and drink his blood, you have no life in you. 54Whoever eats my flesh and drinks my blood has eternal life, and I will raise him up at the last day.”‘
This is the reasonto go to church, for salvation, for eternal life! Yet no one mentioned this. They only invited me to their churches because the music was good, and the people were nice. However, is that the reason to go to church? For fellowship? What about God? This is how I know there was no eternal life in those churches:
Matt. 26: 17 ‘On the first day of the Feast of Unleavened Bread, the disciples came to Jesus and asked, “Where do you want us to make preparations for you to eat the Passover?” 18He replied, “Go into the city to a certain man and tell him, ‘The Teacher says: My appointed time is near. I am going to celebrate the Passover with my disciples at your house.’ ” 19So the disciples did as Jesus had directed them and prepared the Passover…26While they were eating, Jesus took bread, gave thanks and broke it, and gave it to his disciples, saying, “Take and eat; this is my body.” 27Then he took the cup, gave thanks and offered it to them, saying, “Drink from it, all of you. 28This is my blood of the[b] covenant, which is poured out for many for the forgiveness of sins.
Without reading verses 17-19, how can you tell that they are celebrating the Passover? Passover has an appointed time (Lev. 23:4-5). However, if you only read verse 26-28, (which all other churches do) you can attempt to call this ceremony anything and celebrate it whenever you want. Thats why every church (even among the same denomination) keep the bread and wine at different times. Amazingly, though, every Catholic church honors 12 noon, which happens to be the highest point of the sun in the day.
This is why I am thankful to Christ Ahnsahnghong and Mother Jerusalem for restoring the Passover after it was abolished in AD 325. Because of eternal life, I am able to recognize that They are the true God testified in the Bible and Church of God World Mission Society is the true church.
